This ninety minutes series is physically challenging. Its 26 postures were specifically chosen and arranged to work the entire body and all internal organs. Concentration, balance, and focus are improved, and you will leave feeling rejuvenated and energized. This class is conducted in a heated environment. The Bikram series is a great place to start your yoga practice.
Beginners are welcome

Primary Series:
Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga combines breathing with graceful movements to transition into and out of poses. The series is rigorous and produces a profuse sweat, cleansing muscles and organs, leaving the body light and the mind calm.
No beginners please.

A vigorous and flowing practice, Vinyasa blends the major yoga asana traditions in a new expression combining the best of ancient and modern yogic wisdom. It promotes strength, flexibility, endurance, grace, and joy. YogaSource offers heated and non-heated Vinyasa classes.

Power Yoga is based primarily on the Baron Baptiste method of Vinyasa yoga. It is a loose, freestyle blend of the Ashtanga and Bikram practices. Power Yoga is practiced in a heated room. You will sweat! Postures are combined into a vigorous, flowing series that builds strength, flexibility, and endurance. It's a great workout that can be modified for any body type.
Although beginners are always welcome, the Power Yoga flow is a strong, fast-paced series and it is recommended that students have an existing yoga practice before coming to this class.

This workout for expectant mothers includes stretching, movement, and breath designed as preparation for birth. There is an opportunity to exercise and also to feel relaxed and peaceful afterwards. It is not necessary to have practiced yoga before pregnancy. All pregnant women are welcome.

A class designed for new moms and their little ones. Mara incorporates movement, breath, and babies into a challenging class (the goal is to make you sore the next day!) designed to connect you back to your core....your belly. Work on balance, strength, opening up the chest and the lower back, and cooing over little babies. Babies up to 10 months are welcome. Please bring $10 and a baby blanket.

Yin yoga targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. Gentle floor poses are held for three to five minutes at a time with the muscles relaxed. Deeply held stress and tension are released, chi (energy) flow is harmonized and flexibility and alignment are improved. The mind and body become conditioned for longer periods of meditation. Yin yoga is the ideal complement to more muscular or "yang" forms of yoga.
Jivamukti Yoga
Jivamukti Yoga, pronounced (Jee-va-mook-tee). Founded by David Life and Sharon Gannon, these classes are vigorous and dynamic while integrating philosophy and spiritual teachings from ancient yogic texts, chanting Sanskrit mantras, meditation and inspiring music. The 5 tenets of Jivamukti are Ahimsa (non-harming), Bhakti (devotion), Meditation, Nada Yoga (development of a sound body and mind through deep listening) and Scripture. Taken from the Sanskrit term Jivanmukti, Jivamukti means “Liberation while still living in the body”. Jivan=individual soul; Mukti=liberation; thus reminding students of the ultimate aim of the practice- Enlightenment.
