In the spirit of giving, YogaSource is opening its doors to the Stanfordcommunity for two free classes this month. Whether you're looking for an engaging workout or a relaxing break to your stressful week, you'll find it on our schedule!

Join us for the following classes to get a glimpse of what our studio can offer you:

  • Yoga Sculpt with Hesham Sallam, Saturday December 1st at 3:15pm
  • Vinyasa with Hillary Acer, Wednesday December 5th at 3:30pm
About the Instructors & Classes
Hesham Sallam & Yoga Sculpt
Hesham first discovered yoga in 2011 when he took on Bikram yoga as a counterbalance to running and strength building activities. His practice soon evolved to include high intensity training grounded in mindfulness and breath awareness including a love for hot pilates.

Hesham's passion for Yoga Sculpt began at CorePower Yoga in the South Bay, where he completed Yoga Sculpt teacher training in 2016. In this class you will find a playful, humorous environment that will put you at ease as you embrace new challenges and opportunities for growth.
 
Hillary Acer & Vinyasa
 

Yoga is a sanctuary for Hillary, a place to reconnect, center and slow down. Her classes draw from carefully crafted, alignment-based sequences that invite students to explore balance, concentration, and calm amidst any challenge. She encourages all bodies and minds to step onto the mat and move, embracing the philosophy that yoga can benefit everyone in some way.

She has been studying anatomy and kinesiology for many years. She received a B.A. in Biology from UC Berkeley, conducted research in Neuroscience labs, and assisted Physical Therapists, all of which contribute to her knowledge as a yoga teacher.


She is a 200 Hour Yoga-Alliance Certified Instructor and continues to study under Jason Crandell and Annie Carpenter.
