I began practicing yoga in 2001 as a low-impact form of exercise because my knee tendons were overstressed from years of running. In 2008 I completed my Vinyasa Teacher Training with Mark Stephens and have been teaching Vinyasa, Power and Pre Natal Yoga since. Most recently, I studied with Jill Miller and become certified as a Yoga Tune Up instructor. My classes focus on building strength while seeking patience, balance and compassion through connecting with the breath. I am also in the process of completing a MA with a focus on Positive Psychology.
